Additional Items For Ordering:

Chicken: We use an organic farm in Oklahoma that offers an all-natural and hand processed chicken. The processing plant is a small-scale USDA inspected operation and is certified by the State of Oklahoma as being environmentally friendly.  The plant has a slaughter capacity of approximately 1000 birds a day.  The birds are raised from one day old chicks until they reach their target weight.  They are fed an all natural feed formula containing no antibiotics, hormones, or animal by products. Aside from the vinegar and water applied to the dressed birds as an antimicrobial, no other chemicals are used on the hand processed poultry.  After being individually inspected, the birds are packed in ice for maximum cool-down before being placed in cold-storage.

Beef: We are looking into a few organic farms in Oklahoma.  More on this soon!

Local Raw Honey: available in 4 different sizes (little plastic bear bottles to 1 gallon jugs)

Wheat: Available at 1 and 5 lb increments. You are also welcome to store up for a rainy day or for unknown emergencies at 35 lb buckets.  We have built a relationship with some local growers in Oklahoma who have a passion for the quality and wholeness of food. The benefit to whole wheat bread versus processed white bread are significant. The major things to note are the processing and nutritional value. But the value that is priceless is the taste. The taste of whole wheat, freshly milled bread is worth every bit. Pick up a pound to try it or stock up with the 5 lb or 35 lb order. Keep in mind that prices will fluctuate with the various seasons. Click here for more helpful insight

Eggs: The eggs that we have available for order are raised in Jones, Oklahoma. These eggs are local, free range eggs.  The benefits of free range eggs are abundant.  Below is a good post describing many of the benefits of eating free range eggs as well as how raising chickens in a free range manner is beneficial for the chicken. Read more here.

Here is a bit of it:

  1. For starters they are often fresher, as with most foods the fresher the foods the healthier they will be.
  2. Free range eggs have been found to be lower in cholesterol, by as much as 30%.
  3. Free range eggs contain 2 times more Vitamin A and E.
  4. Free range eggs are alkaline. Battery hen eggs are acidic. Studies have shown that diets higher in alkaline foods are likely to prevent cancer.
  5. Free range eggs have twice as much Omega-3 Fatty Acid. This is very likely due to the hens having a more varied diet.
  6. Free range eggs have ¼ of saturated fat than do battery hen eggs.
  7. Free range eggs have 5 times more Beta Carotene.

Coffee: Our organic coffee is roasted fresh within hours of our order. This makes for a very fresh cup of coffee. You can purchase in one, two, three, and five pound bags.
